As part of your stay, you will also receive a fully guided tour of Skellig Six18 Distillery in Cahersiveen, which won Double Gold at the International Spirits Challenge awards in 2022 in London. There you will discover the story of Skellig Six18 with an immersive audio-visual experience and a unique Apothecary corner.
The guided tour duration is 45-55 minutes which concludes with a tasting of Skellig Six18 Gin.
Upon your return to the Butler Arms Hotel after your Gin experience, you will be greeted by the creators of Valentia Island Vermouth, who will tell you all about their Vermouth and introduce you to some aperitif cocktails using Skellig Six18 Gin and Valentia Island Vermouth.
Valentia Island Vermouth is the first Irish vermouth and is made from 20 different botanicals including gorse that is foraged from the island.
Breakfast is also included on both mornings in Charlie’s Restaurant where you can enjoy spectacular views overlooking Ballinskelligs Bay.
